SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 13

Congratulating the North Marion High School football team for
winning the AAA State Championship.
Whereas, The North Marion High School football team ended the
1997 football season with an outstanding season record, 13 wins and
1 loss, earning it a chance to participate in the AAA State
Championship playoffs; and
Whereas, The North Marion High School football team
participated in and won the 1997 AAA State Championship; and
Whereas, The outstanding leadership of head coach Gerry White
and his coaching staff, along with the athletic ability of each
team player helped bring the 1997 AAA State Championship to North
Marion High School; therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby congratulates the North Marion High
School football team for an outstanding 1997 football season and
for bringing the AAA State Championship title to the proud campus
of North Marion High School; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to forward
a copy of this resolution to the principal and head coach of North
Marion High School.
